CEO Welcome
CoreSpeed's focus on community springs from a strong heritage of enterprise software development and experience with hosted solutions that range from staffing and travel to robust eMarketing campaign management.
As the social networking / social media phenomenon grew in the consumer space, we recognized that there could be some real value in applying these concepts to the enterprise environment.
This new community implementation has been designed to provide folks with the ability to become familiar with community concepts and to begin understanding how they might apply in their enterprise. We will also be talking about how the addition of workflow, multi-dimensional identity, security, and advanced search, discovery and tags can fill specific gaps in organizations using community.
I encourage all who visit to register and become members. CoreSpeed is leveraging search engine marketing to drive traffic to the site and is syndicating the blogs of special contributors out to the blogsphere.
If you are interested in becoming a special contributor or if you have any questions, please contact us at info@corespeed.com. We will provide you with some tips and support your efforts as well.

What do I first?
- Fill out your profile - including as much personal and professional stuff as you feel comfortable. You can choose to keep it private, post to your near relationships, or make public.
- Write a post introducing yourself to the community - Please include a brief bio, overview of your company, and why community is of interest to your organization. Please, include a signature with your full name, title, company, and website. (We want to give credit and possibly steer someone your way if they are interested in your company)
- Add a relationship - you can add me if you like or someone else in the community. They don't necessarily have to be someone from CoreSpeed.
- Send a message - you can send a message. I personally made sure to turn on the feature where it can send my messages to me via email versus on the system. I recommend that you do the same so you don't have to remember to log in to communicate.
- Join a Group - Definitely join one that interests you and ask a question, add a comment, post information on the topic. The goal of the groups is sharing subject matter expertise, education, and credentialing. If there isn't a group on your topic and you would like to lead one, please message me as we are looking for people to provide thought leadership on discussion topics.
- Come Back - this community is one in development. We are still in the stages of getting the core community structure in place. Every community needs a hard-core group of leaders who can provide the genesis for thought leadership and create the initial content that is compelling to the new members. The goal is to generate sufficient catalyst for the new members to see value in contributing and interacting. The "tipping point" so to speak. Each community's growth will be different dependent upon the focus, relationships amongst the members, and the value they see in the community. CoreCommunity is in the genesis phase where we are getting the core content in place to attract the members and to build critical mass so week to week this should look very different as it evolves very quickly.
- Invite someone else - We want a large cross-section of organizations and individuals to participate and share different aspects of where online community and enterprise social media would be of value and how to make it work.
- Provide feedback - please tell us what you like, what we need to improve, what you would like to see, etc. We are hosting the community, but it really belongs to the participants.
