John W. Linss - President / CEO
John Linss is a sought after executive coach, business advisor, and speaker on topics ranging from sales and marketing to technology and business strategy. As a serial entrepreneur, he has extensive experience in a variety of business and technology arenas. John has also served as an adjunct professor in the Emory University Goizueta School of Business teaching business and technology. Goizueta consistently appears in the Top 20 rankings of best US business schools.
His professional career has focused on establishing, growing, or turning around innovative business ventures for companies like FirstReef, Giben America, BravePoint, and ClearNova. As a multi-disciplined, self-starting executive, John employs proven techniques to strategically build teams and establish business foundations and systems capable of supporting rapid, profitable growth.
John’s significant experience in the technology arena also provides knowledge of the use and refinement of industry best practices and technology products as well as an understanding of how organizations can appropriately implement effective, fiscally responsible solutions that leverage both new and existing technologies. This experience is critical in guiding customers and team members through the challenges that organizations face when creating high quality, productive business systems.
In addition to the roles he has played in a variety of enterprises, he has interests in a number of organizations for which he provides guidance on a board level basis. His formal education includes Bachelor of Science majors in Economics and Interpersonal Communications at the University of Georgia.
Jim Bell - Chief Technology Officer
Jim Bell is an accomplished technologist, with a penchant for strategic innovation. His 17-year history of success in a variety of technologies includes both successful start-ups and Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, MCI, CNN and Genuine Parts.
Just prior to CoreSpeed, Jim served as Director of Platform Development, and later, Director of Analytics Technology at EnterBridge Technologies. A published author and sought after speaker, Jim is an expert in web-based applications and relational databases, and has been inducted into AT&T’s Engineering Honor Society.
Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Double Major (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) from Duke University with Summer studies at Oxford University in England. He earned his Master's degree in Computer Science at UC Berkeley.
Mark Pew - Vice President Professional Services
Mark Pew has extensive experience in managing large and small projects while leveraging a variety of technologies. His background includes many years of managing different aspects of both consulting and corporate software development organizations.
Since beginning his career in Information Technology 1979, Mark has held a variety of positions in development and management roles. He worked for 14 years at Equifax in various IT development roles, followed by 5 years at ChoicePoint where he managed large teams developing mission critical applications. He then joined Professional Reviews Inc as Chief Information Officer.
Mark also delivered a number of independent consulting projects, during which he was involved in two IT start-ups. He has successfully managed IT teams, projects and strategy for a variety of industries and scope of business.
